Usually it is kept in the car and very useful returning home late evening with kids usually sleeping in their car seats. Kids love it for its appearance. My 3 year old daughter enjoyed having this travel pillow on our 9 hour drive to Disney World. It made her more comfortable in her car seat for that long period. I hated to see how difficult it was for my grandchildren to sleep comfortably in their car seats on long trips, and these pillows solved the problem perfectly. They give their heads the support they need. Plus they are so cute and cuddly that my grandchildren use them as a snugglies. My daughter wishes I would get her one. My son loves it! I purchased this for my three-year-old who is envious of her older sisters' travel pillow. She absolutely loves it! Bought this for my 4 yr old twins and they love them!!
