I have sensitive skin and was a long time user of the Head & Shoulders line of products. Simply said they are not effective, especially as a long term solution for dandruff. If you also have sensitive skin it should also be realized that effective treatment for hair comes from proper care of the scalp. So I highly recommend use of natural products that do not strip and stress the skin like chemicals do. I highly recommend the `Aubrey Organics` line of shampoos and the `Kiss My Face` line of soaps. I have had the same experience as a number of the other reviewers--dandruff/dermatitis my whole life (and it`s been a long life!). Recently, my scalp started to itch like crazy--allergies?- I tried expensive prescription shampoos, and Nizoral (-made things worse as another reviewer said), Neutrogena (did nothing), coal tar shampoos (did nothing), etc. Finally, skeptically, I decided to try H&S, which I had used years ago, but thought it was only mediocre. For some reason, the Sensitive Care version really works well. My head stopped itching and flaking almost immediately.
I bought this product for my boyfriend, who used to have dandruff half of the time. Now he never gets dandruff. This product works, and the bottle lasts for a while.
