I`ve been using this for one year, the only shampoo i can use, it makes your scalp perfectly clean. Moreover, I don`t have dandruff anymore.
This controls flakes really well & I love the scent. It doesn`t strip my hair as badly as many other dandruff shampoos, and can be used every day. However, keep in mind H&S trades gentleness for effectiveness -- it`s not as harsh as stronger shampoos but it`s also not always effective at treating a really itchy scalp. This is no problem if you have mild itchy scalp, the H&S will be more than sufficient. If you`re like me, though, you`ve got itching that`s harder to control. If you`ve gone a couple weeks without using any dry scalp shampoo, you`ll probably want to start with another brand of harsher dry scalp shampoo, as those are designed to completely get rid of hard-to-treat dry scalp. Use the harsher shampoo for a couple of weeks to get your scalp`s moisture balanced, and maintain your scalp`s moisture with Head & Shoulders. Personally I don`t mind this, as the stronger shampoos are hard on my hair and often have a strong chemical odor, so switching to the gentler H&S is fine by me.
This product does NOT help. My sister, who has a degree in cosmetology, said it makes dandruff worse and she is right. Get Tea Tree products from Paul Mitchell. You get what you pay for.
