The design of the bottle is lovely. I received it as a gift and really wanted to like it but can`t stand to keep it on my skin throughout the day. It almost makes me sick which is weird because it doesn`t stink... I can`t figure it out. What I`ve decided to do so that it doesnt go to waste is use it as a bath/powder room air freshener and I get so many compliments from guest wanted to know what brand it is. Oh well.
I really wanted to like this as I like most of the other Fresh fragrances. The top notes were pleasant but I did not enjoy the middle or base notes. I found I had to wash off the scent as it was actually a bit overpowering and slightly nauseating (at least to me).
When I first smelled Sake I loved it...a very intriguing scent of a not-to-sweet floral with unique undertones. I was so disappointed after I tried it. The scent turned very sharp on my skin after the dry down. I really wish this would have worked for me. It has great staying power unlike the Fresh sugar perfumes. I suggest trying before buying as this is the first perfume I`ve tried that did not go well with my chemistry.
I`ll agree it IS different. But not my favorite Fresh scent. This one is a little on the sweet side. Guess that`s the Sake part of it. It`s nice, just not as nice as Sugar Blossom! Geisha is better too and they are somewhat similar.
Everything was as described! Lovely over and undertones, very subtle and sexy, the scent clings only to you and doesn`t overpower anything. Does not smell fake either...very intoxicating.
I love this fragrance! I always seem to have a hard time finding that perfect one - femine but not too "floral" and sweet - Sake fits the bill! My boyfriend loves it and I get complements all the time.
Oh, this perfume is truly one of the most amazing and delicate scents! I`m just flabbergasted by how many dimensions it offers for the senses, and how unique it is. This perfume is mild enough for day-time use, but also sophisticated and enchanting enough to wear out in the evenings. Most importantly, my significant other whose sensitive sinuses usually keep me fragrance-free is absolutely intoxicated by this perfume, and just loves when I wear it. An absolute must have!
I have actually had people stop me on the street to ask what I am wearing. This is a light delicate fragrance that smells very different from others. I wish the person who did not like it would give me what`s left in her bottle -- I love it!
The Sake scent rocks! Not too sweet or spicy and not too heavy of an after scent. It is worth every penny.
Has an underlying smell of cat urine. It smells nothing like other wonderful oriental floral fragrances. I think it`s horrible and I wasted good money on it.
