Don`t like this thermometer at all. It is very loud. It does not hold the last temperature, so you have to write down if youre going to go back to sleep, to make sure you don`t forget. Also, it has no back light so in the early morning hours it`s difficult to read. The display is somewhat small as well. Not impressed.
This thermometer is "you get what you pay for". You will get a temperature but if you do one just right after to double check, it is a different temperature. Besides that it doesn`t save the temperature and doesn`t have a backlight so if you are doing it when you get up and its dark out, it seems to work ok.
good thermometer.. I bought 2 thermometers one ovitrack and the BD brand. 1. BD was ok..the constant beeping that tells you that it is on and placed accurately is not good in my book. Especially when you have a husband who is a light sleeper. Ovitrack is better, it only beeps once when it is ready to be taken out. 2. BD is good on having the lighted background, but bad on having the 2 decimal readout. So if I have a 97.58 readout I keep having the 97.5, which doesn`t show the slight increase of temperature (any slight difference makes a difference in bbt). Ovitrack has the 2 decimal readout and 60 sec time limit (bd has the 60 sec time limit also). 3. Both BD and Ovitrack have the memory installed (don`t know what other people are doing to not make the memory recall not work on their ovitrack). You have to hold down the button for about 4-5 secs, before it shows the last reading. 4. Ovitrack is flexible and BD is not.
