I always refered to my KP as "fat bumps" bucause they come up where i have a little extra blubber (back of arms, outer thighs). I always thought this was just a normal part of being a little bit overweight. Much to my dismay, even after I had lost 30 pounds before my wedding, I still had these embarassing bumps, but i figured there was nothing I could do about it. Then my soon to be husband said "can`t you do something about the ZITS on your thighs?" Trying to explain that is was KP and not acne to him was futile. In tears, I furiously began srcubbing with a very harsh loofa and exfoliating soap. My skin was so raw it was bloody, but I STILL had the KP. Then, as a last resort, I tried this product. I was amazed - even afeter the first use there was a marked improvement! Encouraged, I used it every other day for 2 weeks and just in time for the wedding, the bumps as well as the red spots were gone! I was so relieved because it meant that I did not have to be ashamed to have my arms showing (too hot for a sleeved wedding dress) and my husband was very pleasd with my nice soft thighs. If you stop using it, the bumps do come back, but even with one use, they are minimized and with a few uses completely gone. Fantastic, one of a kind product! I just wish it came in a huge tub - i would buy this stuff by the gallon if i could. It is very thick and sticky but i just put it on after my shower and before bed. However it is odorless and absorbs pretty quickly. No stinging or burning of any kind. To anyone who has KP: YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PRODUCT IT REALLY WORKS!
The creme does what it is supposed to do. It hydrates your skin and keeps it soft. It also seems to provide a protective barrier. I love it and highly recommend it. Just don`t use too much of it... a little goes a long way.
Unfortunately this did not work for me; I bought it to treat my keratosis pilaris. I used it every day for a month and did not notice any change or improvement. Also, it is sticky.
