I have kind of long, naturally curly hair. My hair itself isn`t really coarse, but it`s really thick because I have a ton of hair, so I don`t know if this product was really meant for my hair texture or not. Anyway, I used this for a couple weeks, in combination with the "intense conditioner" (I didnt want to bother getting more than those two items from the line since they`re more expensive than I like to pay for hair stuff) and I found that this really dried my hair out. It made my curls nicely defined and helped the frizz a little bit, but it gave it the feeling of straw and made it look dull and in a few places a bit crispy. Not the worst product but definitely not worth this much money. I prefer Garnier Fructis Curl Cream which is a fraction of the price.
I absolutely love this product! I have very thick, naturally curly hair that is a frizzy mess without this product. After shampooing I glop the Contouring Cream on my fingers, and then run them through my wet hair and kind of shake the ends loosely, then let it air dry. After it`s dry, it still looks kinda wet, so I run my fingers through it again and voila.....I have curly and totally frizz-free hair. Even if I get caught in the rain, my hair stays frizz-free. I have spent hundreds (probably thousands) of dollars on products promising to control my bushy hair, and this is without a doubt the best product ever.
I have thick, naturally curly hair. I have tried everything under the sun to calm my curls and frizz. This product does wonders for my hair. Just a little bit goes a long way. After you wash your hair, you take some and go in layers over your hair, but still don`t use much. It keeps you hair calm, and lets your curls be defined. No more `bush` and frizz. Excellent product.
