Skin feels waxy after using. Doesn`t give a clean appearance or feeling.
I keep leaving this cleanser for other "miracles" reviewed by others (I am a sucker for beauty crazes), however through time & trial I have realized my error. I have extremely oily skin and this is the only thing I have tried that keeps it under control during the day. After starting this stuff again I couldn`t believe I ever stopped. It seems to rule of thumb for me is, my skin is not in the majority so rarely will my reviews agree with the majority! The warming effect is just not lasting enough to worry about.
It WILL get rid of black heads and CLEAR up acne (giving you a clear complexion - even those little ones on your forehead and chin) if you use it everyday. Use it once a day. I use it in the shower in the morning. I put some in one hand and put a little on my face at a time, so I can concentrate the heat in one area at a time, since the heat does only last a few seconds. My advice to the other reviewer, who said they could feel the heat/tingling later - stop using it because you are probably allergic. The heat is hot - it feels great because it feels like it is actually going to open my pores and get the yuck out!! And on what the other reviewer said, it`s not a mask, it`s not designed to be, so don`t use it that way. It is meant to be rubbed into your face the entire time - that`s what makes it work. If you want a heated mask, get the self-heating mask Biore makes.
