I use this product whenever I have a case of the greasies. I am African American with bra-strap length relaxed hair. I NEVER use any greasy products or gel, etc. but it never fails that after I get my hair relaxed, it manages to get insanely oily. Between washes, I put about a dime-sized drop of this stuff all through my hair. At first it`s wet, but it dries within about 5 minutes. Afterwards, my hair feels healthy, light, and not greasy, but still has a shiny look. Not to mention that it stays straight, but with all the volume I had to begin with. This stuff isn`t heavy in the hair at all.
After years of spending untold amounts of money on products like this ... BioSilk was a shocking find! Product does not leave hair weighted down or oily. Use it on wet or dry hair. GOOD STUFF!!
Great product that really combats the frizzies. I use it as a setting lotion on dry hair, though. It`s wonderful!
