It`s not exactly the same as what I have been purchasing over the years at the local store. The label is different and the product is different too, but it`ll work.
This product is my all-time favorite; I really can`t do without it! Great for controlling thick, curly hair and adding subtle shine. Also great for straight, smooth styles and controlling fly-aways. Smells great (not sure what that one reviewer was talking about, saying it doesn`t), and a little goes a long way...1 container can last months and months. A must for anyone with naturally curly hair. Just a small amount helps shape and hold curls while eliminating frizz...it can absolutely transform a "bad hair day" into a great hair day. (No, I don`t work for Artec, but will gladly endorse this product!)
Really adds Shine and Control! I have fine-stranded wavy to curly hair which I sometimes straighten. I use this pomade on dry hair, curly or straight, for hold and control to lift at the roots and to keep from developing frizz, and when it`s curly I rub it in my hands and scrunch out the crunch of gel, only after my hair`s completely dried. I think they may have improved the scent. It still disappears when I put it in my hair within a few minutes, but from the container it smells fresher somehow than it used to. A little goes a long way and this tub really lasts so it`s worth the price.
