Tried it on my little one. Horrible Stench. Left a big mess on my hands and on her bottom.
This stuff is horrible! It stinks. It stains. It gets all over everything. And worst of all it made my baby miserable for days! I thought she was just miserable because she had a rash, but her rash hasn`t gone away and I went back to Triple Paste. She was her happy self again in one application. I`ll never buy this stuff again. I`m sticking with Triple Paste (it`s worth the expense)!
I received this from a friend before my daughter was born. Three years later I have used everything else but I keep going back to this one. It is the best! I also hear it works on adult rashes like poison ivy. My daughter is now 2 1/2 and she asks for it by name. She has had yeast infections that looked bad. This worked wonders on them.
This is a great product. I don`t mind the smell and I`m glad that it works on clearing and keeping diaper rash away. It comes off easily unlike the other diaper rash creams, where I`d have to always use a nail brush when washing my hands after changing a diaper. You should try it. The only downside is the cost, but I don`t know how the cost compares to other name brand D.R. creams.
I love this product! The only downfall of buying this smaller container is it costs a lot more, but it is good for using on the go. Buy the large container for use at home, it will save you a lot of money (especially if you use it a lot like I do!) I haven`t found another product that keeps away and clears up my daughter`s diaper rash.
If you have a soldiers in your life this is a must if they are deploying overseas. Helps with rashes from the heat due to the uniforms they have to wear. Should be included in your packages to them. Anything to make them more comfortable while they are making us safe.
I use this product on all of my kids, and they love it. Sometimes, my older kids will even ask for it if their rears are a little sore! My baby has recently had a bad case of diarrhea which caused her to become extremely raw and irritated. She would scream when we changed her diaper. When she felt us put the Butt Paste on her, she would immediately stop crying! I know it`s a little costly, and the color is strange, but who cares as long as it will keep my babies happy!
This is the third diaper rash product that I tried and it is by far the best! I`ve read a couple reviews complaining about the smell and color of this product and must ask if you are reviewing the right one? True it`s not white like the others and it doesn`t have a "mediciney" smell (thank God) but what bearing does that have on the effetiveness of the product. My daughter has sensitive skin and with the other brand name products my daughter continued to suffer with a rash. Within 12 hours of using this she showed marked improvement and the rash disappeared completely w/in 48 ours of using it. It was also easy to get off my hands and didn`t stick to everything like the others did.
I saw this in the store and thought I`d try it on my tiny boy. I`m not all that impressed. I thought the smell was gross. It doesn`t stay on the baby. The only time he`s had a diaper rash was when we used this all the time. We rotate it with Desitin now with better results.

After trying this cream on my child, I think it`s the best! Now I give Boudreaux`s Butt Paste as a gift to my friends as soon as I find out that their expecting. I love it...I will not use anything else.
After trying seemingly every other diaper rash cream out there (including Mustela`s Steactiv- the worst!) to treat my daughter`s red-bumpy diaper rash, Butt Paste cleared up the rash completely in two days! Non greasy, good quality packaging (my daughter loves the baby on the tube!), great smell (to me it smells like cookie-dough). It does leave a yellowish tinge on the diaper, but the rash is gone- can`t complain!
This has got to be the best diaper rash ointment I have ever used. Just be aware, that the cream comes out of the tube fairly thick but spreads out easily when put on body. You only need a tiny bit, as it spreads out easily.
The absolute BEST! I won`t use anything else on my son because nothing else works as well. It works SO MUCH better than A&D ointment...and it doesn`t leave that medicine-ish smell. The best! I give this to every baby shower I`ve ever been to, and it is taken as a joke at first because of the name. But I have been thanked countless times by people for introducuing them to it because it is really such a great product! I just wish it came in a 12 oz size!
I bought this product in the trial size, and found it to be the BEST diaper rash ointment I have found (and I have used every brand I can find between my 2 kids). It is worth every penny. My youngest son (who is now 3) would ask for it when his fanny would get irritated. I even recommended it to my pediatrician (in case he hadn`t heard of it). After my husband and I raved about it, he said he would definitely recommend it to other parents. Obviously I have recommended it to all of my girlfriends who have children in diapers, and I have received grateful thank yous! I have bought it since in the larger size. I will never buy another rash ointment if I have more kids in the future. P.S. My mom is a nurse in an elderly care facility, and they use it on the patients there as well!
