My only allergies are to bug bites. The worst are spider bites but I get large red welts from even the smallest of mosquito bites. The itching is enough to drive someone crazy and the swelling and itching gets much worse if I even lightly rub the area. The Benadryl cream and/or spray works great at temporarily relieving the itch while at the same time blocking the antihistamines that are causing me to swell up. Thanks to Drugstore.com for carrying these item! I can never find them in the stores and I don`t know what I would do without them.
I tried this product on a small patch of eczema on the top of my hand. I didn`t notice any relief from the itching. In fact, the product dried my skin out and made the itching worse.
Excellent cream. I recently battled something that was causing my hands to itch at night to the point where I had scratch marks, and the itching was waking me up every few hours. I felt like clawing my hands off. I have a prescription 2.5 % Hydrocortisone cream that I literally slathered on, and it stopped the itching for only 10-15 minutes, so I knew that hydrocortisone wasn`t going to cut it. This worked! I put it on before bed, and I was able to sleep through the night. After 4 days of using this cream, whatever I was battling seems to have passed. I don`t think it`s a cure, but it definitely stopped my terrible itching and I gained sleep because of this wonderful stuff. I highly recommend it.
