I have purchased 4 different kinds of prenatal vitamins, including a prescription chewable, and this is my favorite. The prescription prenatal vitamin does not contain as many calcium and minerals as this one. I started getting leg cramps at night and switched back to this one and I do feel better. When I started back up with this one, I also noticed that my nails grew very quickly and were stronger, so I believe I am absorbing more nutrients from this formula. General tip: I am very sensitive to the iron in prenatal vitamins. If I take two vitamins on an empty stomach just before bed with a full glass of water, I have no stomach upset. However, when I took it (or any of the other 3 types I tried) in the morning, it would cause me to vomit up my breakfast, and I was not prone to morning sickness otherwise.
