I have been using this product for myself and two young children and I have to say BEFORE we were taking these minerals we were sick every-other week but now we haven`t been sick at all in months! I`m so pleased that the `normal` brands and stores are starting to sell colloidal minerals!
Yes, it tastes bad. Oh well. I would rather live life with no illnesses (yes, I have not been sick in about a year because we went fully organic) than worry about such a thing as taste. It is worth it. If you don`t like the flavor (it tastes like earth because it is made from minerals, folks), use it in a smoothie or a frappe. Your health and life are more important than the taste, I promise you!
This is a great product. You wouldn`t drink this straight any more than you would chew on a vitamin tablet - but mixed with a smoothie or protein drink, it provides a complete mineral supplement, without added sugars or sweeteners. I`ve become a true believer in the colloidal form of mineral supplements.
I thought this product was great, I was able to get all my minerals by liquid instead of another pill.
Apparently, the two people who reviewed this product previously don`t really know what colloidal minerals are- or at least where they come from. They`re normally derived from mineral rich clay, so yes, it does have a slightly clay like taste, but I didn`t find it bad. This is the first colloidal product I`ve found that isn`t loaded with sugar and dye, which is a plus in my book. I don`t know whether colloidal minerals have all the health benefits people claim, but I know when I take them I feel like I have more energy - and that`s a first for any health supplement I`ve tried.

I bought this because I had read some articles on how great colloidal minerals were. This stuff actually made me nauseous because of the taste. I took this in combination with some other vitamins and had to hold back my gagging every time I took it. It smells like clay from art class, and it is crystal clear. I felt like I was just drinking clear "dirt water" because that is what it tasted like, and I am embarrassed that I spent money on muddy water that had been run through a sieve.
