I love this shampoo! My hair is short and very color treated/bleached, with a lot of white. The shampoo is surprisingly thin and runny, but I found that if your hair is thoroughly saturated with water, it foams/suds nicely. I have used this product about 6 weeks (along with the Hamadi conditioner), and my hair is now shiny and soft again! I have had several comments from people saying how good my hair looks now. I wish it came in a bigger bottle!
Unfortunately, I had the exact same experience as the other reviewers. This shampoo left my long silky hair matted, tangled, and extremely dry. My fiance also hated it, and we decided since it is all natural, to try it as a shampoo for our two dogs. Worked wonderfully! So, until the bottle runs out, our dogs are getting the most expensive shampoo experiences that they will ever have.
Boy do I feel stupid! I thought this little bottle of shampoo would be a concentrated luxuriously foamy magnificent shampoo that would make my hair look and feel like silk....Not!! It is a runny liquid that hardly makes suds at all. I had to use a ton of it just to work it through my hair, which then felt like I`d washed it with dishwashing liquid. Serious waste of money (and it doesn`t even really smell that good). My husband is almost bald, so maybe he can use it : ) If you try to use this stuff on long hair, you`ll hate it.
I must`ve been possessed to equate high price with gentle care. This shampoo was absolutely too harsh for my color treated hair. It would make a good natural alternative to Neutrogena shampoo to clarify hair, but is not for everyday use, or use after a color treatment. I`d like to get a refund for this and the Hamadi deep conditioner I bought here.
