I usually am not all that impressed with the pricy skin care products--seems like they don`t do much more than the drugstore variety. I got a sample of this, and was so impressed I ordered a jar. I have very dry, sensitive skin, and it doesn`t seem to matter what moisturizer I use, it soaks in and within 30 minutes my skin is dry and irritated again. Not so with this; your skin stays moist and feels wonderful for hours. Especially good after Philosophy`s dermabrasion skin kit (also a great product). When my spot of rosacea acts up, I put some of this on, and by the next morning it`s gone.
This is an excellent moisturizer that is non-greasy and soaks in completely. I purchased this in desperation after a product containing Retin-A made my skin break out and become raw, itchy, and painful. I was familiar with the MD Forte Cleanser and facial lotions with glycolic acid and trusted this line of skincare. I was not let down, as this hydrating cream performed exactly as it says it will and restored the healthy texture of my skin. I saw healing of my skin begin after one day of use. However, I do not find that I need this level of moisturizer on a daily basis now that my skin is back to normal. This is probably because I now regularly use DERMADoctor`s Calm, Cool and Corrected to keep my skin clear and smooth and find that my skin doesn`t require any further moisturization with that wonderful product.
