Product was VERY watery! I poured it into my hand expecting it to have a normal shampoo consistency and ended up dumping a bunch of it out. I had better luck applying it directly to my head, but I felt like I was still using way too much. And at [$] for a SMALL bottle of "superior" shampoo, I can tell that it probably won`t even last 2 weeks! I think that`s way too much money to spend on shampoo per month. Also, it`s supposed to decrease the oil production on the scalp...I didn`t really notice a difference. By the end of the day, my scalp was still moderately oily, like usual.
This really works! Yes, it`s expensive and yes, it`s watery. After spilling half the bottle down the drain, I took the advice of another reviewer and transferred the shampoo into a spray bottle. Problem solved! All you need is a few spritzes and you have great lather. The bottle lasts a lot longer, making the shampoo a lot less expensive over time. It actually does what it says. It gets rid of the pimples and controls the excess sebum. I can now wash my hair every other day without it looking weighted down and oily.

This was a high price to pay only to find there`s no noticeable oil control after using for a month. Plus, the glass bottle is difficult to manage in a slippery shower. Also, the bottle has an open top, making it difficult to dispense the needed amount without wasting product.

A WASTE OF MONEY, I bought two bottles for nothing. This shampoo doesn`t work at all, the bottle is so little, plus they are made of GLASS, very dangerous if the bottle falls while you are taking a shower. You`re at risk of getting cut, should be plastic.
This is the best shampoo for oily hair that I can find, and believe me I have been looking! I have to wash my hair almost every day to prevent an oily sheen. It is very potent, you only need a little bit. And since the price is on the high side, I use another shampoo first, then follow it with Phyto. You can use even less (about a dropperful or a teaspoon for medium-length hair)!
I just used this shampoo this morning, and it seems to be working already! One reviewer remarked that she used a spray bottle to apply it since it is a very watery consistency. That really works well I found too, or just be very careful when pouring it! I am hoping I can now skip a day without having to wash my hair. Two days or more would be even better and will save my hair from damage as well as being oil free.
