Carica Papaya (papaya) - Papaya, which is cultivated in most tropical countries, is rich in vitamins C and A and contains papain, a protein hydrolyzing enzyme. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to find Nature`s Gate Papaya Moisturizing Lotion18oz. Because of this enzyme, papaya offers natural skin softeners when used in cosmetic formulations. The fruit, illustrated here, grows at the base of large fronds on palm like trees rising over 25 feet high.
Nature`s Gate Papaya Moisturizing Lotion is a soothing and deep penetrating lotion. Basic information about the Nature`s Gate Papaya Moisturizing Lotion18oz. Papaya, a tropical fruit, contains important restorative enzymes and the natural softening agent, Papain. We`ve also included Allantoin for its healing properties and Vitamin E Linoleate which forms an Intercellular Moisture Barrier that prevents moisture loss and softens skin for 24 hours, even after prolonged sun exposure. Combined with Extracts of Wild Pansy and Coffee, as well as a rich blend of natural oils, this unique formulation provides light sun-screen protection and keeps skin supple.

This is a great lotion, and it has a yummy papaya fragrance. The scent is fruity, but not too strong. This lotion moisturizes well, but if you are looking for intense moisturization for extremely dry skin, you better pass this lotion by. This is a perfect light-weight summer lotion, and it is great for you and the enviroment!
Natures Gate is very good. However the one with COLLOIDAL OATMEAL is the best for dry skin in winter climates and I wish they carried that! HINT HINT
I would give this product more stars if possible. This lotion was originally picked up on a whim going down the organic aisle of my local supermarket. I was out of my usual lotion, Eucerin, and decided to try it. I have tried tons of lotions varying in price from drugstore products to expensive department store brands. I kept coming back to Eucerin because nothing could moisturize as well. Lo and behold, here comes a product that moisturizes FAR BETTER than my Eucerin ever could. I am so incredibly impressed at its moisturizing abilities. It absorbs very quickly without leaving any greasiness or residue, just soft beautiful and naturally scented skin. I am in love with this lotion!
