OK, first things first, does it work? It`s hard to say. I do seem to feel a little calmer and happier when I`m wearing it, and both men and women do seem a little friendlier, but is it actual response to pheromones, the placebo effect coloring my perceptions, or just a simpler response to a pleasant vanilla fragrance that I enjoy for its own sake and goes well with my skin chemistry? It`s really impossible to be sure. Still, if you`re a fiend for vanilla scents in general like I am, it`s worth playing with; I mostly got this to layer with conventional fragrances, adding a stronger vanilla note to things that needed a little boost, and it does that admirably; any pheromone effect, if it`s there, is a pleasant bonus. ;) Product is oil based, so while it`s not a very big bottle, a little goes a long way (especially when you`re mixing with other scents); the rollerball applicator is easy to use, portable (they even include a nice little velvet pouch to protect it if you want to carry it in your purse), and totally discreet -- the bottle and pouch are unlabeled, so there`s nothing to indicate it`s anything other than a plain vanilla fragrance oil. The scent is nice, warm and soft, and not sticky-sweet like a lot of modern vanilla scents out there. It`s nice all by itself, and blends very well with other fragrances. If you plan to wear this by itself, note that like most fragrance oils, the "throw" or sillage is not as strong as alcohol-based perfumes; the scent is soft and hovers close to the skin, rather than being very noticeably strong even from a distance. Nice stuff, no real complaints -- I`m only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it`s pretty much impossible to judge the accuracy of the claims of the pheromone effect, but just as a fragrance it`s perfectly pleasant and wearable!
THIS STUFF DOES NOT WORK!!! I TRIED IT TODAY, PUT QUITE A BIT ON BEFORE GOING TO MEET MY HUSBAND, NOT AN OUNCE OF A DIFFERENCE. I DONT KNOW WHY PEOPLE SAY IT WORKS ON HERE WHEN IT CLEARLY HAS NO EFFECT WHAT SO EVER!!! DONT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT, TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.
Subtle, I like it. I think it may work. I lost my bottle while on vacation and since then, I haven`t been wearing it. I don`t think I get the attention I was getting before.
