My family is currently living in China where dairy products are not readily available. We have all begun taking Viactiv to suplement the calcuim we normally get in milk and cheese while living in the US. Even my 8 year old likes the flavor. Next I will try the chocolate flavor.
I didn`t realize when I bought viactiv that it was not made from usp grade calcium. Any calcium supplement that does not state usp grade on the lable can be made from bones or other lead contaminated sources, and is definately not something I want to take.
I hate milk, and I can barely remember to take my multi vitamin. These are tasty, and easy to remember since it feels like eating candy! Make sure to keep them out of reach for small kids, though since they are not childproof and taste delicious.
