Peanut Toffee and Cool Mint Chocolate are, I believe, the only Clif bars with a little bit of caffeine (50 mg), which comes from green tea extract. The caffeine helps to combat the sleepiness that can come with eating these large bars. Of these two, I prefer the Peanut Toffee - though a little on the dry side, the taste is terrific, much like a store-bought cookie.
These are ok. I like that they have great healthy ingredients, and are all natural. The taste is sorta plain, but not bad. I didn`t feel a "buzz" or anything. I don`t eat these lot because the calories are kinda high, but they make for a good breakfast. My 4 year old thinks they are gross; my 7 year old will eat them if there is not a different flavor option. They much prefer the Z-Bars...I prefer the MOJO bars and Luna bars.
