Perfectly functional cornstarch-based dusting powder, nice and smooth and silky, good for odor/moisture control or relief from chafing in hot weather. Scent is light and pleasant enough, fresh and clean without being overpowering -- it wouldn`t be hard to find other scented body products that could be layered with it without clashing. Sounds just like the way it`s advertised, doesn`t it? BUT...the "vanilla essence" fragrance described really doesn`t smell very much like vanilla. It`s not a bad or unpleasant scent in any way, but if you`re a real purist about vanilla scents, it`ll be a disappointment. It`s a decent enough product for functional after-shower freshness, but if you`re looking for a more perfume-quality true vanilla scented powder, this is not the product you want.
I would be lost without this! Everything I ever really like is discontinued, so I stockpile this stuff. It`s comforting like a security blanket to me, and I am not loyal to bath products.
This is a great deodorant powder. I`d used the regular scented S to S for many years until they started coming out with the different scented ones, and this Vanilla Essence is my favorite now. I even tried out some other talc powders and just regular baby powder, but nothing works as good as Shower to Shower.
