My doctor doesn`t think the wristband blood pressure monitor is at all accurate... Am searching for other opinions as well as probably buying myself another monitor. Preferably with print-out capabilities
I love this blood pressure monitor. It works extremely well. The automatic leveling detector is a huge bonus, especially for people unfamiliar with how blood pressure works. Its readings are consistently within a point or two of the readings taken at the doctor`s office. The memory and graphing functions are AWESOME!
I gave this product 2 stars because I can get it to work eventually. However, it will not work on everyone, and that is bad. You have to apply pressure to the wrist strap to ensure it will read while using the sensor to find the exact spot on your chest for the monitor to finally begin taking a reading. It is very awkward to use. My parents were visiting me and wanted to take their blood pressure, my father had no issue getting his to register, granted I had to hold the pressure on the wrist and move it around demonstrating how to use it (not something that is common sense) but my mom`s would never read. We moved it all over her chest getting arrows from the device to move left and right, but it never got centered enough to begin taking a reading. I love the size and storage, hate the reliablity and accuracy.
