Feels good on your scalp and does a good job conditioning hair, even thin hair. Does not weigh your hair down.
I`ve used Nioxin, at the recommendation of my stylist, for 1-1/2 years (the duration she recommended). I`m still losing hair (not any more or less that I was before I started using it) and my scalp itches something fierce - drives me crazy sometimes. When I confronted the stylist, she quipped, "well, you`d probably have lost more hair if you didn`t use it." No logic to that reasoning, since there has been no change either way. Do research BEFORE you buy. As for me, I`m shopping for another product.
I bought this to go with the cleaner. This is the oddest conditioner I have ever used. It feels like a face cream and slicks all over the scalp before I wash it off. Makes my head feel overly cold (freezing!). I`d be willing to deal with that if it worked - but in addition to making my hair limp and flyaway it also made my scalp itch burn for the whole day. I`ve never had itchy scalp before in my life. That was a deal breaker for me. I`ll continue to use the cleaner but Ill find another conditioner (probably one from the body shop for limp hair).
