This is a great product and really works to strengthen nails. It takes at least 30 days to see results, so don`t give up. This product is good if you have a drink mixer since stirring by hand doesn`t get it all dissolved. I use a Braun mixer and it works great!
After reading other reviews I realized that mixing was the biggest complaint. Many thanks to the review that recommended mixing a weekly batch. I add 28 ounces water to the blender, add 7 packets of Knox Gelatin, blend for a few seconds, rest for several minutes, and blend again. I pour the mixture in a plastic bottle and shake it each morning before pouring out the day`s portion. This is so easy to do. I don`t think I would stick with it if I had to mix it by spoon each day. I will report the results in a few months when it has had time to work. My nails were damaged by chemo treatments, so if this works for them, that will be really great. I only gave it 3 stars because I haven`t used it long enough for accurate results.
I have only taken it for about 1 1/2 weeks so I don`t know how it`s affecting my nails yet but I have solved the mixing problem. I have a small juice bottle and I put the water in first (so the mix doesn`t stick to the bottom), then add the powder and shake vigorously, then let set for a minute and I`ve never had any lumps or problems.
