This product was recommended to me when I walked the 500-mile Camino Santiago in Spain. I took it daily, mixing it in one of my water bottles. I never experienced joint problems during the entire journey, and did not worry about swallowing vitamin pills that would often upset my stomach. I have kept using it since returning from the long walk. Emergen-C also makes a "lite" product with MSM, which is not fructose sweetened. I used both in Spain.
I use this product and will continue with it, as I can not digest hard pills. This formula is wonderful for my stomach and I love getting the vitamin C too. However, I do not understand why they use fructose to sweeten this! Those of us interested in health know how destructive refined sugars can be.
We just returned from Quito, Ecuador, visiting our daughter (who lives there and teaches at Colegio Americano - The American School of Quito) and after several days of walking on the inclines and uneven sidewalks and streets, my feet and legs were swollen and blue....could hardly walk!
