Anyone who buys this needs to understand that it is aimed at those with High Blood pressure, who cannot take de-congestants. No, the antihistamine in this doesn`t work as well at "drying out" your sinuses as, say Sudafed, or other actual de-congestants, but it is substantially better than nothing, for those of us who cannot take de-congestant drugs. I thank God for it this medication, every time I have a cold!
This product was surprisingly good. After nights up coughing I tried this while visiting friends. I slept for hours without waking and with no drowsiness! Love it.
I am writing this review because I am still sitting up late at night, coughing my head off even after taking this product. The product claims to be a antihistamine & cough suppressant, but as soon I as I try to lay down to get some sleep, the post-nasal drip from this little cold (which the antihistamine should have relieved) begins irritating the back of my throat causing non-stop coughing fits. As noted, the product will make you drowsy, the result being you get to sit up awake with your cough even though you are dead tired.
