I like it because I am allergic to all other allergy products. It is easy to carry with me when I travel.
Unlike most others, Benadryl does not make me drowsy. I only take one a day, sometimes two, and don`t find I have to switch up to maintain the efficacy as often as with Claritin and some others I`ve tried over the years. The dye-free gelcaps seem to work best for me.
This does what it is supposed to do, it relieves the symptoms of allergies, such as itching and sneezing, runny eyes and nose, etc. It makes me sleepy so I only take it at night. It could also be used as a sleeping pill. I keep a couple pills in my purse in case I have an allergic reaction to food or pets outside the house.
