Tushies Unscented smell better than Seventh Generation wipes and are similarly rated in the top 5 least toxic baby wipes by Skin Deep/Cosmetics Database (the Tushies unscented version only). For personal hygiene, I use wipes every single time I go to the bathroom and am trying to minimize personal toxicity and environmental impact. These fit the bill. No parabens, and all the ingredients are easy to spell. Usually a good sign. Good amount of moisture, comfortable texture, although not to keen on the pop-up design as this tends to dry out the bottom wipes faster. Wish they would make them flat instead.
Caused my baby to have a rash. In 6 months of her life, she`s never had one before. Also, they don`t tear which makes it impossible to get 1 wipe to clean while holding her. The smell is fine and they were moist.
They did not irritate and they are environmentally friendly, but they`re a little too thin for us. I would recommend 7th Generation`s wipes instead.
I love the naturalness of these wipes; they really are safe to use on Baby`s skin umpteen times a day! As some reviewers have stated, they are a little thinner than other commercial brands, but that really hasn`t proven to be an issue for me or my husband. Do be aware that the original dispenser in which these wipes are sold, unfortunately doesn`t seal very well, which is why the wipes tend to dry out. To combat the dryness problem, we simply bought a Huggies Wipes dispenser (which seals up tighter) and we put the Unscented Tushies refills in that. The wipes stay moist and we keep our babies safe!
They didn`t irritate my son`s sensitive skin, but they irritated me! Each wipe must be torn along a perforation to separate it from the next wipe. Too hard to do when you`re holding on to the baby`s legs with one hand, and trying to rip free a wipe with only one hand.
These wipes tend to get dry on top and wet on the bottom of the box. I had to flip them to avoid using a dryer wipe. But I like the pull-up feature - it never grabs the next wipe, just like other wipes I used. Also, it is probably the only natural wipe on the market. Plus, my mother who babysits my newborn loves these more than Seventh Generation, 365 brand, or any other wipe I would bring home to test.
It`s not as thick as most, but it organic and fragrance-free.
Rough! I like the fact that these are natural, but they definately are not as soft as Seventh Generation, and did cause some irritation on my newborn`s sensitive tush.
I love them. Did not think they were on the dry side like other reviewer found them. Mine were moist and baby loves them, too. I used Lansinoh wipes before that, and she got very irritated from them, so use only this instead. They are the safest out there, in terms of chemicals, they have a cute print on them and no alcohol and citric acid.
I like that these are chemical free, however, they are a little on the dry side, and I sometimes have to run them under the sink to get them wet enough to actually wipe my son`s bottom clean. I also have used the Seventh Generation ones and they are better/wetter.
My daughter is 11 months old and I have used these from the beginning. I love them. They are gentle on her soft baby skin, with no harsh odor. I would HIGHLY recommend them.
A little on the thin side (not as thick of a wipe as Huggies), but does the job. Good price, and the pop up feature is nice.
Love this stuff! I hate the idea of chemicals on a baby`s tender skin. This cleans well, has no irritating fragrances or chemicals, and feels good on the skin. A+!
