For the first few washes my hair was volumed out and I thought I was in love this item. Then it started losing the volume effect and became a dark oily/build-up flat look. Too heavy for my normal to oily, fine, color treated hair.
I also found this to be actually stripping the color out of my hair rather than protecting it as it claims to. In fact, I have never had any other shampoo strip the color out or my hair as noticibaly as this one. Additionally, the only volume I got was a dry, frizzy, fly-away quality that I`ve never had before (my hair is pretty straight and smooth on it`s own) and is definitley undesirable. I couldn`t recommend this to anyone.
I have very thin hair, this is the only product that has ever worked at improving volume.
