Although I enjoy the Spray and Play hairspray from Big Sexy Hair, I was not impressed with this gel. I have fine, oily hair and this product did nothing to add a noticeable amount of extra body. If anything, I noticed my roots became more oily as the day went on.
What volume??? I am unimpressed with this product. Perhaps I was expecting a bit more "oomph, because I LOVE the spray and play hairspray. This product, however, did nothing for me. I have curly, fine hair that I often blowdry, and use hot rollers to get a little more body. I have used all kinds of products from mousses to gels to get that body to stay, but not be too stiff; and I keep looking for something more. This product was not it. I gave it 2 stars rather than 1 because it did not weigh my hair down (like other products have), but I may as well have used nothing in my hair.
First off, i hated the smell. It reminded me of the way all my stuff smelled once i moved out of my smoking parents` home, after 20+ years! yuck. But, it wasn`t too sticky, it gave my shoulder length / layered hair a little lift -I didn`t use any other products. Maybe with a little mousse too, it would have been "bigger". I`m not looking for poofy here, either. Just so it`s not flat at the roots. Otherwise, I wouldn`t go out of my way to get this, and I put mine in the closet for possible future use. I have two other products lined up to try next.
