I wasn`t impressed with these. They didn`t alleviate my muscle spasms at all and normally I enjoy a painful massage, but I found the pain of these to be utterly joyless. For a cheap way to relieve muscle spasm I think lavender bath salts do much better (and less work involved).
I found these Bongers on a cruise ship about 10 years ago. After some pretty intense Bonging over the years one of them finally broke and I am happy to find that they are readily available on the "mainland". They are one of my tools in the arsenal to ward off period back discomfort. Most effective on the upper back between the shoulder blades which is a difficult area to reach otherwise, especially if there`s no one else around.
I DID NOT ENJOY THIS PRODUCT. IT`S LIKE HITTING YOURSELF WITH BALLS.
I had never heard of these before today, when my co-worker received her order. She let me try them out on my tight shoulder and the pain went away in minutes. I`m sitting at home now writing this with NO pain. Its so amazing I just completed an order for my own pair of Bongers. I`m sold!
I agree with the reviewer who said these were poorly made. There is a little ring at the top of the wooden handle and it was loose out of the box. I do enjoy using them on my legs but for the back, it`s not intense enough. You really need fingers to get to those sore muscles.
I originally bought these due to the tension I was experiencing in my neck/shoulder area. I started bonging away and I noticed a difference...Bongers work!!! They really get the circulation flowing. Not only do I have less tension and pain in my neck/shoulders, but I have a better backside thanks to Bongers! Get these and Bong away to your heart`s content...they beat any firming cream out on the market!!!
The one thing I can say about this product is "WOW". I use these for firming up the backside, and I can`t believe how well they work!! Who`d have thought?? I highly recommend getting a pair of these as a supplement to your nutrition and excersise plan. Just 15 minutes a day can make a difference. Cellulite? What cellulite?
These are great! I bought them for my husband for Christmas but he got them early because he had been complaining of knee pain. He`s received various electric massagers over the years, but these will probably get more use than any of those. They work well, and require little effort to use. Plus, the price isn`t bad.
These work really great if you follow the directions and hold them properly in your hands. Otherwise, your wrists will be sore in a very short time. Held correctly, the bongers will actually do most of the work for you with very little effort on your part. They do help with the apperance of cellulite if used regularly, and they feel wonferful on tired feet. They have also helped with my migraine headaches.
I bought these Bongers for my back pain...it`s so hard to find someone to massage you when your a single parent -- well these Bongers are GREAT! I love them. It`s hard to get to certain places on our bodies, but with the Bongers its so easy. They work great on your head too, especially in the back where the neck line meets the back! Oh my, it`s a steal at this price. You will love them!
If I could, I would rate these a 2.5. They work pretty well. However, they are poorly constructed rubber balls on the end of flimsy metal and wooden handles. In my opinion, they are not worth the price.
Best money I`ve ever spent! I am obsessed with these and can`t stop bonging myself and my partner. My cats love it, too!
I thought they were great for the first week until one of them broke. They are cheaply made and not worth the price.
All hail the Bongers! They`re an amazing value for the low price and make a great gift. We`ve had our Bongers for a couple of years and still love them. They`re fun and easy to use on yourself or a partner (even better to have used on you while you relax your stress away). They may take a little practice for some, but once you have a rhythm, it`s fun to Bong your aches away! Unlike many other massage tools, it seems like it would actually be hard to hurt yourself with them, unless you use them `sideways` (in a manner that doesn`t allow for the springing action). Read the instructions, pry your partner away from the computer/TV/video games, and get comfortable for a relaxing `Bonging session`. It works!
I love these- they do not hurt (unless you`re smacking them against your face) and feel fantastic on your feet, back, neck, pretty much anywhere!! And they`re fun!! Using them on my neck helps relieve headaches, and they really soothe aching muscles, I love them on my leg muscles. Try them!
