I actually got this from my mom; she`d bought it and didn`t like it. I thought I`d give it a try, and WOW! It`s everything I could want in a cleanser. It smells great, feels like it`s giving a deep-down clean, and makes my skin super soft. It`s one of the few products I`ve tried that really clears up my acne, keeps it under control, and fades my old scars without using benzoyl peroxide (which I`m allergic to). I also love that it`s gentle enough for me to use every day. I use a small dab in the morning, so the bottle lasts a really long time, and my face feels clean all day. I don`t know how I got along without it!
The first time I used it, I could feel it working. My skin after patting dry and moisturizing was SO SOFT!! I get occasional blemishes once a month, and this does the trick. It clears my pores wonderfully and, again, makes my skin SO SOFT OMG. My boyfriend was shocked that facial-skin-not-on-babies could actually get that soft. I love it. It`s especially potent after using a deep cleansing mask. AND, it`s gentle enough (for me) for every day or every-other-day use! It`s truly fantastic, and worth the price.
Neutrogena Foaming Face Wash was just your average skin care product. I have rather oily skin, and seeing that this cleanser had exfoliating beads which are supposed to pop your zits, I gave it a try. The smell is hideous, though. It got rid of some of the acne on my cheeks, but the forehead and chin stayed the same. Also, it is said to reduce dirt, but two hours after I had showered, my face was oily once again. If you have sensitive skin, you may be in for a burn or small rash like I was. Overall, it`s nothing to rave and get excited about. Try the Neutrogena microbead facial pads if you want a healthier and smoother, softer face. Now those things really work!
