I think this shampoo has a wonderful scent, though it may not be for everyone... It smells like a summer garden and seem heavy when in the bottle, but it really isn`t that strong once its in your hair. I have super dry hair and this noticeably improved the texture. I didn`t notice the improvement when I was in the shower, but when I used it with the phyto nourishing hair masque, it was MUCH easier to style and a lot silkier. I have been using this shampoo for over a year and haven`t found a better product yet!
I was unimpressed with this shampoo. It doesn`t lather well. I have used other organic products that lather better. I will not buy it again.
I was really disappointed in this shampoo. I would rate it adequate at best. The smell is nice but it did not lather well even after a second application. I also feel that it didn`t really do anything for my long color treated hair. Not worth the purchase price. I absolutely prefer Alterna Luxury products.
The orange blossom scent is heavenly, and it really has added some moisture and shine to my very long, fine, dry hair (I`ve been coloring it for years). A luxury, but luxurious and worth the price.
This is perfect for my shoulder-length, very fine, very dry, color-treated hair. I`m buying in bulk!!
This is the only shapmoo I have ever used that has made me compliment my hair. I used it for 2 weeks (about 7 shampoos), and didn`t think it was doing anything, all of the sudden, my hair was much more shiny & healthy. Many people complained about the glass container & it was a concern of mine. I was happy to see they no longer package it in glass. In fact only a couple of their shampoos still come in glass. So if it was stopping you, don`t let it. Never had a shampoo do so much for my damaged hair before. I have really nice hair now, from the shampoos only, haven`t changed anything else.
PHYTONECTAR is fantastic! Although it is a bit pricey, the glorious smell of orange blossoms alone makes it worth every penny. Although my hair is not exceptionally dry, it is a bit porous from coloring. Phytonectar shampoo makes it silky, shiney and smooth. It also appears to give me more volume to my hair. Everyone has noticed the difference in my hair since I began using Phyto products. My hair is healthier than it has ever been, even more so than when I was pregnant! I alternate Phyto`s conditioners - they are all great! A product well worth the price tag.
I use this shampoo in the Winter, and it is GREAT. I don`t have terribly dry hair, but this shampoo makes it look and feel so healthy and glossy. I found, however, that it is better to alternate shampoos with ones that are as rich as this one. So, I use a daily, gentle one, and then the next day or two I use this ultra rich one. Works great.
I have tried every thing from shampoos to conditioner, and found that this product is very good for dry hair. Being a black American, I neeed moisture for my hair, plus I relax my hair, and found that the shampoo works well with the conditioner. If you are looking for some real softness to your dry, dull hair this is the product for you. Honestly speaking, for dry hair try the Phytokarite conditioner and leave on for about 15 minutes and feel the diffrence, plus it is good for detangling, too. For those who decide to purchase the product, give it a couple of weeks before you see results. Thank you, Phyto.
Phytonectar Ultra Nourishing Shampoo smells too sickeningly sweet for my taste. It does, however, leave my dry, wavy hair in better condition than any shampoo I have ever tried. This is an expensive shampoo, but the outstanding results are definitely worth the splurge.
