Gets rid of peach fuzz and `mustache` that appeared after age 35. It does not irritate my skin (although I don`t have sensitive skin) and leaves it feeling smooth.
From my personal experience with facial hair (a little on the upper lip, ``sides`` of mouth, well let`s ``face`` it (LOL) kind of a little goatee going on here, ladies :) [post-menopausal], Nair is still the best facial hair removal product. Over time, I learned to take a timer with me and pre-set it so after applying the product I can just hit the start button. Pre-application I learned to rinse the area with just tepid water to effectively remove any and all facial skin creams and/or makeup residue. Leave the skin a little damp. Apply product to the most heavy growth FIRST work your way around to the least growth LAST. For removal I lean over the bathroom sink with the faucet running and drench bunched-up paper towels (2 at least) to remove product, wiping GENTLY and discard paper towels as needed. Very crucial to remove product totally. Then if any stray hairs are remaining I did discover if I use a fingernail to gently ``rake`` over the hairs most will just come-off immediately. THEN using either a washcloth OR paper towels I use very very cold water as cold as I can stand and gently pat the entire removal area. I tend to have some irritation no matter what afterwards so I have learned to ``do the procedure`` either during a Sunday-night bathroom call OR very early in the a.m. ... because then your skin has a chance to recover ... my skin needs at least a few hours, at the very minimum, to return to a normal state. Learned the hard way to time it this way so the skin can recover because oh boy if you don`t wait and apply skin care and/or make-up, oh that is going to irritate the affected area. So basically I apply the procedure ``in the dead of night" LOL or very early in the a.m. so I can return to sleeping while my skin gets back to normal. Also, I need to let the product stay on at least 7 minutes to be effective. Learned that thru trial-and-error. A good product esp. when compared to what else is out there. :)
LOVE this product and for some reason my local tarjay has pulled it from it shelves :( i have super sensitive skin so waxing my whiskers is out of the question. i`ve been using this stuff for like 4years & it works wonders. only draw back is that it smells gross but u`ll get over it when u see a smooth upperlip.
