I got these bandages for my 4year old son so that he could swim in our pool. They stuck...and stuck...and stuck. Removing them was very very painful for him. It took me all of 15mins to get it removed and not with out tears from the both of us. It finally came off with a lot of vaseline and rubbing. I guess it served it`s purpose, but it was very painful.
I`ve heard pretty good things about these bandages, so I bought a box to try out. Two people on my backpacking trip scraped their hands, one on the finger and the other on the palm. I tried three bandages on the cut on the palm and none of them stuck for more than 20 minutes, medical tape worked better, and ultimately regular band aids stayed on for 6 hours at a time. Same deal with the cut on the finger. My conclusion is that these bandages are worthless on any part of the body that moves or sweats.
Once you try these, you`ll never go back to other brands. They are a little trickier to apply; just take your time. Once it`s on, it is so light and flexible that you don`t feel it at all! Much more comfortable than other bandages, AND they don`t get all soggy (yuck!) when wet. If you get the `plain` kind, they are barely noticeable at all - great for grown-ups! I buy the colorful ones for the kids.
