These are "tattoo" bandaids, which means that the sticky part is clear, and the pad is hidden behind a printed princess design that is supposed to look like a tattoo. Which is fine, except that the gauze pad part is TINY, (I guess so that it`s not visible behind the princess). Also, the sticky part is REALLY sticky. My daughter (3 yrs old) cried when I took the bandaid off, and this was after she`d taken a bath with it on. So basically, they`re cute, but they only cover the most minor and miniscule of boo-boos (ie, the imaginary kind) and they`re really hard to get off. I won`t buy them again.
