I love this product- especially the smell. People always ask what scent I am wearing. It smells clean and "earthy. I have fine hair and this product is perfect for me - doesn`t weigh my hair down and makes styling easy. I have not found it drying in any way. I`ve used it for years and can`t live without it!
I bought this product from my hairdresser but unfortunately i stopped using it since it leaves my hair dry and lifeless. I`ve bought better/cheaper products at the local store. [$]
I have fine hair and this is the best product I`ve ever used on it. It is weightless and still under control. It only becomes "crunchy" if you use too much. It only takes a teaspoon or so on my short hair. Works great on my daughter`s long, straight hair as well.
This stuff is magical. Love the scent! It is a great detangler, and a tiny bit goes a long way!
This product does have great holding power and does give shine to the hair, but it really dried out my naturally curly hair so I won`t be buying this again. The smell is very bold and spicy. Think along the lines of mens aftershave.
I LOVE the smell of this product. It is bold, like a spicy scent, which is not for everyone, but I am hooked. My stylist uses it every time I go, and I am going to purchase it on my next visit. It holds up so well! I recently had my hair done for an event, and this product was used; my hair is usually limp within 2 hours, and when this was used, the same style held for 10+ hours. I was amazed. I highly recommend this one.
Like every Aveda product I`ve tried, Confixor has a wonderful, unique smell. If you like floral, this is not for you...if you like more intense, spicy scents, this is a good one! Good hold for fine hair, not heavy or sticky.
I use many of the Aveda products (my wallet can attest to that), but my hair always looks its best when I do use them. I also have fine hair that is long and curly. Confixor by itself can make my hair "scrunchy and crispy", but I mix a small amount of this with the "Be Curly" product, (suggested by my stylist) and I get springy curls that look natural and healthy. "Be Curly" by itself weighs my hair down too much, but the combination gives it definition and style!
My hair is fine, like the other reviewers here. This product, like many other Aveda products, is so intensely perfume-y and fragrant you smell like you`re doused in it even if you use only a small amount - which I did. In addition to the extreme smell, it left my hair extremely crunchy. Way too product-y for me. There are other gels and styling products much better out there, including the ARTec line.
This is an awesome product for those with fine hair. You only need a little! Normally, I can`t use any kind of gel, but this is so light it doesn`t weigh hair down. Highly recommended.
I love the scent of the Confixor Conditioning Fixative. I have very fine hair and this stuff goes on light and yet has a great hold. A little bit goes far! And the aroma lasts all day. Not for those who want an unscented product!
Outstanding hair product! Never gets hard, and has a wonderful, yet not overpowering, scent.
