Very sticky and I cannot take the smell. Very hairspray from the 70s smell, not fresh at all. Too sticky and strong for those who want an overall easy hold.
For men, this is a terrific hair spray that will hold hair in place. My hair is naturally curly and when I apply this to my hair out of the shower, after combing and applying gel, this will keep it straight all night. Its Marvelous.
I love this hairspray. You have to use it sparingly, or it will get sticky as with ANY hairspray. A little goes a long way with this. It holds my baby fine, but thicker hair in place all day, and I love the wonderful Aveda aroma too. I am buying my second bottle today. I love Aveda products! They have kept my hair in great condition as I am growing it out after many years.
I love this stuff. I have very thin hair and it does not weigh it down at all. It keeps my hair in place and is very resistant to humidity and it smells just fine. I have a closet stocked with this stuff just in case they change the formula.
I`m so sad Aveda changed the formula of this formerly-fabulous hairspray. I would have given it five stars long ago as the fragrance used to be *heavenly* (all men used to say, "Wow, your hair smells amazing") and the hold was always fantastic - even when it got went in the rain. Now? Smells horrible! All the signature fragrance is gone. Smells like alcohol-y witch hazel or something - NASTY. I returned my last bottle three years ago and will never buy it again.
