I felt the test was pretty accurate. It did take a really long time to get the results (at least 4 weeks) by mail.
Test is a easy to do. I had read other reviews and used a regular lancet that a diabetic uses to test blood sugar to stick myself as you need blood for the stick. I sent it off, and within a week they called with my results and actually a person talked to me! That is more than a doctor`s office has ever done! I think it is just wonder that there is a company who believes we deserve to be able to take care of our own health, which includes testing!
This test was easy to use if you don`t mind pricking your finger (they give you a small device that makes it easy). I give it 4 stars only because the results, which are mailed to you, came back higher than the in-office test I had a week or so later. Both were in the normal range but this test showed me creeping up toward the end of that range.
Test is easy to do, not too messy. The results took too long (almost a month). NY residents take note: They have to fax the result to a NY doctor to sign off and fax back to them. This doctor keeps them waiting 2-3 weeks. That is the reason for the long wait for result. None of this info is in the test kit. They say you get the result in 5-10 days.
