I feel that these omega 3s actually did help my child`s mood and behavior as I have read that they might, and they taste good enough that my 4 YO son will take 4 a day (over several hours). However, I did notice that you can get more Omega 3s and DHA from simply buying organic eggs with added Omega 3s, and that would save money over these pills if you can get this though diet instead of supplements. However, if your family`s diet is lacking, these are a great safeguard, in my opinion. I did notice that they definitely seem to cause nosebleeds in my son, and I looked that up, and it is a known side effect for all Omega 3s. I just started giving my son 2 instead of 4 a day, and the nosebleeds stopped. That is how I know they are really doing something however. If he would not have them for a day or 2, the nosebleeds would stop, but every day and night that he had had 4 a day, he got nosebleeds while just sitting or sleeping, so be aware. They are healthy but apparently thin out the blood.
