This is the absolute best wash that California Baby makes! I have terribly sensitive skin, and for some reason I cannot use the super sensitive or the calming washes on my face, but this one is the best. It has almost completely cleared up my rosacea, I cannot say enough about it! Great product!
My now 3 year old has had cradle cap since birth. This product is the only thing that`s worked. A miracle, I will be buying in bulk! It turns out dandruff is caused by a fungus. Tea Tree oil is an antifungal and cleared it right up! My husband and I will begin using it as well. The Neutrogena T Gel we`ve been using for years just glued the dandruff to your head. And other products never worked at all. This is fantastic for shampoo, not great as a body wash but you can`t have it all!
I`ve been using this for my baby (now 3 months.) since she was born, and I love it. The smell is light and natural--unlike most baby bath products which smell overwhelmingly perfumey. My daughter has never experienced diaper rash or any other skin problem (other than "baby acne" when she was first born, but that disappeared quickly), so I can`t say that this baby wash eliminated any problems and I don`t know for sure that it has stopped rashes from happening...but I do know that I feel much better using a natural product on my baby`s skin vs. a bunch of chemicals. The only only `con` of this product is that it doesn`t lather as much as I`d like it to...but that doesn`t really affect the performance.
Love love love the smell, it works so good for my son`s really sensitive eczema prone skin. It helps to protect him from lice (they don`t like tea tree oil) he goes to daycare all the little children and all those bugs (lavender is antifungal, antiseptic and has a soothing smell). I love Califonia Baby.
I bought this shampoo for the stubborn dry psoriasis patch on my scalp, but it didn`t help. It did nothing for the rest of my dry scalp, either. I did not like it for a regular body wash at all. HOWEVER...it makes a wonderful intimate cleanser, a very mild, gentle, complete clean for the `southern regions`.
I just received this 2 days ago. I used it on my hair and was amazed at the amount of build up it removed in just one use. I have EXTREMELY THICK hair. The back of my hair gets really weighed down just from the thickness. I have tried everything from Graham Webb to Neutrogena T-Gel. This worked great- no more itchy scalp. My hair had more body after using it, too. I used it on my 1 1/2 year old`s cradle cap tonight (and in his bath water). His cradle cap was just flaking off with light scrubbing of his baby brush. The scent is wonderful, too! I will definitely be buying this again, and want to try the Cold and Flu bubble bath next.
We used this shampoo for our first born years ago and now that we are preparing for baby number 2, it`s one of the first things on our must-haves list. It cleared up our son`s cradle cap in no time at all, and the smell is so relaxing. With or without cradle cap, this is a wonderful shampoo/bodywash for sensitive baby`s skin, and I can`t imagine using anything else!
I`ve been really happy with all my California Baby buys. This shampoo is terrific in the summer for my son who is prone to heat rashes. The natural antiseptic of tea tree oil in this shampoo/wash is enough to keep his skin clear and comfortable in the hot and humid weather where we live. Plus, it keeps away little pimples he sometimes gets from sweating with sunblock on. Would also recommend for those with oily hair.
My husband and I love this body wash and shampoo. He has chronic body acne, and we tried this as an alternative to his AHA/BHA body washes because they were drying him out. It has worked wonders at clearing his body breakouts. It`s like he has new baby-soft skin. I use it as an alternative to dandruff shampoo because I tend to have an itchy scalp. I used to use the Khiel`s version, but like the consistency, fragrance, and price tag on this California Baby one much more. Try the body powder, too. It`s our other favorite from this line.
I bought this product because my baby has cradle cap and I wanted something natural to use on him. We`ve been using it daily for probably 2 weeks, and his cradle cap is nearly gone! I guess he had it pretty bad. It was covering most of the top of his scalp and you could see it even a little on his forehead near his hairline. I put just a little on a soft bristled toothbrush and scrub his head while he plays in the bathtub. I think it won`t be much longer and he`ll be completely cradle cap free. It smells great too! This is a great product!
