I tried this in both the SPF 55 and SPF 70 formulas, and didn`t find either one to be "sheer". Both require a ton of blending to get rid of the white streaks and little "crumbs", but they do blend eventually. It`s not bad, but I think there are better, more sheer, and less expensive sunblocks available.
I am a huge Neutrogena fan. I have use many of their products happily over the years. However, this product made me break out and I haven`t broken out in 15 years! It didn`t feel light - in fact it felt heavy and left a white layer on my face. I am sure the product works because I do trust Neutrogena - however, I now am using the remainder of the bottle on my arms. It`s a shame.
I use this sunscreen whenever I go out to water our yard; there are several acres and it may take a few hours. I always feel protected and have never had a burn of any sort when I use it. I like the way it rubs in and does not feel greasy at all. Just be careful and don`t touch anywhere near your eyes-it can sting for a while.
