I use this everyday on my face as my mositurizer. It does burn a little when I apply it, but after 30 seconds the little burn goes away. I think it`s b/c of the other stuff my dermatologist gives me. After application I`m really ready for my daily walks with my baby. He wears it too and has never been vocal about any pain on his skin. We`ll use this forever!
This is a nice feeling sun block, and has a pleasant smell. It doesnt irritate my eyes either, which a lot of lotions do. However, I only give this 2 stars because it is so greasy. At first it feels fine, but after a couple weeks of use, my face broke out like crazy. I had to completely stop using it before the acne went away. My face is medium oil/dry 50/50.
I`ve been looking for a moisturizer with UVA protection. This one left my face really oily and shiny. I had also tried Oil of Olay Complete moisturizer (yellow one), but it made my face break out. I prefer the original Oil of Olay Sensitive Skin Moisturizer (the pink one), though it doesn`t have UVA protection.
Love it for the sun protection, doesn`t feel greasy at all even though I use it under moisturizing foundation and over my usual moisturizer. I have super sensitive skin and so far, no break outs or rashes!! Interestingly it also works well as a makeup base, ha-ha. Gets 4 stars because I haven`t tested it in tropical weather yet. Otherwise, fantastic product.
This sun block makes the skin look very greasy and my face started stinging immediately after I applied it. I waited for a while and it didn`t get any better so I washed it off. First of all, it was hard to wash off (I had to use a prescription cleanser) and my eyes started itching and stinging. I have never reacted to any other product like this. I am disappointed overall.
Way too greasy left my face shiny!
I love this stuff! I have very fair combination skin (that I like to keep fair, thank you very much) that is prone to whiteheads/bumps in the oily areas and this product does not cause me to break out anywhere! Nor does it irritate any existing blemishes. It may seem like an expense based on the price per once but you only need so much to cover your face, ears, neck, and collarbone area. I have used this every day, year round for an entire year so far and am only on my 3rd bottle. I cannot recommend this product highly enough! I would venture to say that this product has improved my skin considerably. It absorbs quickly and while it does not become completely matte it doesn`t look oily, just slightly "dewy, which is fine by me. I also use this when running or biking, it is sweat proof and won`t run in your eyes!
I tried this sun screen for the long beach days or for snowboarding. It has never worked well; I still get burnt!! Also it feels greasy for hours after application.
Not only have I replaced my moisturizer with this, but my foundation as well. I use a bit of yellow based concealer on my dark circles and some bronzer and I am ready to go. I did get it too close to my eyes once and it did sting a bit, as I am sure any facial product would. All in all, this is a great product. I have recommended it to all my fair-skinned friends!
Feels nice and thick, yet absorbs easily. Didn`t cause me to break out or clog up, and my skin was fully protected from the sun while out playing sports. Good product. Sensitive skin types beware though, it does have a discernible fragrance.
I love this product. I used it on my legs, and it dried very nicely and left my legs moisterized. I know it says to use on your face, but I used it all over and it worked the same. It is a bit greasy for the face, but if you are going to be out in the sun it is better to use a sunscreen than none at all.
I use this on my extremely acne-prone skin and it is great. I can use it alone, or mixed with my daily Aveeno face moisturizer, and it absorbs nicely and doesn`t cause me to break out.
If you are acne-prone and highly sensitive to the sun`s rays, this is the best sun block for your face.
This sunblock is very greasy on my combination skin, even on my dry cheeks. I have to put powder on top to get rid of the shininess. I`m still on the lookout for a photo-stable sunblock that has the matte-ness of Neutrogena Ultra Dry, but without the flakiness (balls up and flakes off your skin at the slightest touch) that I experienced with that sunblock. This one was not it, so I will keep looking.
I love this stuff! I was using Peter Thomas Roth`s sunscreen, which cost 3 times this amount. Aveeno`s product is just as good, if not better. It has both UVA and UVB coverage, but it doesn`t leave you looking chalky. Instead, it makes you glow a little. Great stuff at an affordable price. I wear it on my face daily, rain or shine.
