I`ve been using this for several years, and have always been very happy with it. I switched to it in my early twenties when my skin started reacting negatively to the harsher acne cleanser I used in my late teens. It has a pleasant, subtle smell, and is gentle without being ineffective. It definitely requires use of a moisturizer afterwards, but I suppose that`s the case with most cleansers.
So, I`ve only used this product once, And Here`s my reaction. It doesn`t dry out my skin, but for best results, I would use with moisturizer, because it isn`t moisturizing, either. I LOVE the foamy-ness of it! I also like the very mild scent. I`m used to heavy menthol-like scents in my facial washes, because I used noxzema. For heavy breakouts during that time of the month, I`ll probably use my Noxzema, just because this doesn`t seem like the kind of wash that would fight those breakouts. The cool thing is, I don`t have sensitive skin, I actually have pretty oily-combination skin. I stood in the store for a while debating between the oil-free and the sensitive skin versions of this product. Obviously, I went with this one. I`ve never used a sensitive skin product, so we`ll see how this goes...
unlike most people, when i used this product for the first time, i immediately broke out the next day and i haven`t been able to get rid of those pimples yet. this cleanser does moisturize well but i`m not so sure why it didn`t work for me, i am definitely not impressed with this product.
