To hide gray, I was using lighter shades of blonde. The problem is they go brassy - even with a good toner. I`ve changed to dark Ashe Blonde because it doesn`t go reddish. I love it!!! I`ve been using it for about 2 weeks now; my hair is silky and smooth, and my color is lasting as long as it did with a more expensive salon brand. You definitely get more for your money with Dove. Although my scalp is slightly oily this time of year, I thought it cleansed it well. If you have drier hair, it may not work as well, but the conditioner definitely helped make my hair feel softer.
