I was disappointed that this product didn`t do anything to condition, moisturize or hydrate my hair. Being dried out from chemical processing, I was eager for my hair to be Rehydrated as the name says. I like the texture and detangling ability of this conditioner, but after giving it a chance for several weeks it only leaves my hair dry, wiry, difficult to handle & unpleasant to the touch. Then I switched to Pantene Silver Expressions to brighten my brassy highlights & that shampoo & conditioner set brought back softness & touchability to my hair. Sorry Rehydrate, I won`t be using you anymore. You didn`t deliver as promised.
This conditioner made my hair extremely dry, fly-away, and frizzy. It did nothing that it promised to do. I have dry hair that`s easily controlled with a good conditioner, so it wasn`t dry when I used this product, it was in good condition from taking good care of it. However, using this conditioner made it very dry. I had to rewash it, and use a better conditioner to get it back to the way it was, so I could style it the way I wanted it. I was unhappy with the results, and wouldn`t use it again.
I thought the other reviews were very interesting and made me curious, so I tried this conditioner and I loved it. It feels and works like any regular conditioner, lotionier than creamy but very smooth, detangling, softening. It was easy to apply, easy to rinse out, and left my over-processed chemical-damaged hair soft, shiny, healthy, bouncy without any feeling at all of being weighed down by a greasy or waxy coating. My hair felt (and feels) clean and fresh. Definitely worth using. Very easy and I love the results. I don`t understand the reviews that say this conditioner has glycerin (there`s none in the ingredients list), feels & looks like snot (it looks & feels like lotion), & makes wet hair feel like dry straw (it was slick in my wet hair & detangled it quickly).
