I used this set for the first time tonight and now that i`m finished I feel incredibly relaxed and my skin feels incredible- like I`ve been at a spa. Love the result! Unfortunately, the coffee scrub was nearly impossible to get out of the tube and I`ve mangled it so badly and you have to use so much it was a single-use tube (FYI all of these things turn out to be 1-2 uses so keep that in mind when purchasing) then when putting on the polisher (a clay body mask) it coated my skin with a bright orange-red tint! I am VERY fair so it was very oompa-loompaish. If you are following the directions this is supposed to be the last in-water step. I had to use the cleanser again to take off all the polish but good news is, I now know where all the build-up in my shower is (think those tabs dentists give kids to stain their plaque so they can brush better). Also, my shower water turned cold before I could finish the ritual. I may buy individual parts full sized but I wish I had known all this before purchasing.
This set was really very nice, overall. The products feel and smell wonderful. But for the price, the products were miniscule. The coffee scrub was so thick it would not come out of the tube and was essentially useless. Worst of all the clay body mask turned me orange - bright orange! - took forever to wash off and stained my shower tile and curtain, and made me itch (I think because it would not wash off). I would not recommend the set, but the body oil was divine.
I liked it, but my coffee scrub was dried up and hard to use. I think it`s a good way to sample the individual products and see if you want them. I adored the Moroccan mint silt purifier and the orange quince steam room mist -- not what I would have expected if I`d had to choose beforehand. I think it`s a worthwhile splurge if you`re into bath and body products (ok, I admit, I`m a fanatic).
What a nice surprise! This set is delightful. Maybe a little pricey but it`s all about giving the body a present! So go ahead! I did and I`m ordering individual products from the set now. Great way to try each one out first. Plus the presentation is a bonus! Very nicely done! I wanted to know if the cardamon amber oil was good before ordering the full size. It is just what I expected! I am eagerly awaiting my full size bottle.
