The absolute best face wash I`ve used yet. Reviewers who said that it left a film, I don`t think that they rinsed thoroughly enough, or they didn`t moisten their skin enough before applying the product. I have moderate acne that I have struggled with for years, and with this scrub, I never wake up to any whiteheads. It`s wonderful. I usually follow up with Neutrogena Daily Moisture lotion, which also works wonderfully. Just enough scrubbing power to remove dead skin. For the first time ever people have actually told me my skin is glowing. I`ll never switch products.
This cleanser does not leave your face clean; very strange, since salicylic acid products usually strip the oil away. There is an awful film that remains that makes my skin still feel unwashed. I had to mix this product with another cleanser to get it to actually rinse clean. I have never experienced this kind of incomplete result with an "acne scrub". Also not much scrub in it. By the way, my skin is not oily.
I only bought this recently because the Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub was sold out. My skin is sensitive and this stuff really dried it out and left me looking very red. Too rough!
I have tried so many different face washes, and once I tried this one, I was set. I use it once a day (twice dries my skin out too much), and whether I am having some breakouts or my skin is clear, it keeps it balanced and not shiny. I have never experienced so few break outs, and this scrub literally makes my face glow. I was so disappointed when my CVS stopped carrying it, and tried using other products, and then my face started breaking out again, and I went on drugstore.com, and here it was!
This is the best daily cleanser that I have used in a long time! It exfoliates without irritating skin and I actually notice that it helps to PREVENT breakouts. And I love that it smells like the original Neutrogena face wash, because I`ve used that off and on for years so the smell is kind of comforting. But this scrub version is a lot better.
I absolutely love this cleanser! It takes care of surface dirt and oil while the little scrubbing pieces clean down deep. Also, after you rinse off the product, your face feels cool and tingly. I am using this scrub along with Neutrogena Oil-Free Anti Acne Moisturizer and am getting great results. Highly Recommended!
I love this product! It is gentle but still gives your face that fresh-scrubbed feeling; it maintains a clear complexion (I use it alternating with the cream cleanser of the same brand.) It won`t magically make blackheads disappear, but if anyone finds that product that can actually do THAT, I hope they make a lot of money on it... I can use this scrub everyday and it works great for me.
LOVE IT! Its a very gentle scrub and lathers nicely. It clears up my acne so well and prevents breakouts. I use this to take away pimples and use other things to gently clean my face since I think this is a little harsh for using 2 times a day. I stopped using it for a week and my face stayed clear until the last day, then the breakouts started coming again. So all in all, a great product!
I have been using this product for a about two months. It took a couple of weeks but I am deff. noticing my face clearing up. I recommend this product for people who have sensitive skin. Most face washes dry my skin out but this one DOESN`T.. I recommend this product to everyone.. Give it time it will work.
Overall this scrub does make your face look fresher but it doesn`t do much for acne. Do not buy this if you think that this will cure pimples because it wont.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS STUFF! It is the perfect face wash! The scrub isn`t harsh and irritating, just enough exfoliation to make you feel like you`re really getting a good, deep down clean out of your routine. I combine this with Stridex Triple Action with Salicylic Acid, Maximum Strength Alcohol Free Acne Pads (which are also great--no alcohol=no dryness!), and lastly Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Defense Lotion. My skin has improved so much in 2 weeks. I actually documented my progress! I had 10 major pimples all over my face when I first started using this regimen. I now HAVE ONE! And NO NEW BREAKOUTS! YAY!
It`s the best product for my troubled face that I`ve tried so far!!! It doesn`t overdry, it doesn`t leave a residue, it isn`t too agressive and is EXTREMELLY effective. It gets me rid of bumps and even post acne marks. One secret for clear skin: if you feel a deep zit just forming, apply Tea Tree Oil just on it a couple of times. It will disappear overnight, I promise!
I had the Cream Cleanser and liked it. But I`ve always loved the scrubs. So I tried it, and I LOVE it!!! It feels really good. You have to be sure to follow up with a treatment for zits after you wash, or it won`t work as well.
I did not see any improvements in skin. The only thing that this cleanser did for me take away a few bumps! Not really worth the hype in my opinion.
I only got this because it was half price and it came with a free sample. I was surprised after using this because it left my skin very soft and not dry! This is a complete turnaround from the Oil Free Acne Cream Cleanser which cleans your skin well, but also leaves it extremely dry. I only gave it 4 stars because I`ve only used this a couple times, so I don`t know if it will help my skin in the long run. Let`s hope so!!
