I`ve been using this lotion for more than 3 years and it`s my favorite summer lotion because my skin shimmers and I feel sexy even in shorts and a t-shirt. I actually cut it with regular Vaseline Intensive Rescue unscented (which I use year round)--basically I use a squirt of each and mix them because I don`t want a ton of sparkle, just a hint. It`s an excellent, cheap summer indulgence!
The pearly shimmer in this white lotion is nice for fair skin like mine. It doesn`t make the skin shine like its name "gloss" might indicate, but it gives the skin a subtle glow & shimmer in strong light like sunlight or spotlight. The cocoa butter scent is nice but because it lingers it`s overpowering and when I wear this lotion on my legs it competes with any other fragrance or perfume I want to wear. That`s why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. I like the pump bottle for convenient and easy dispensing, but the smaller squeeze tube is also great for travel. However I don`t understand why the 2 different size containers cost the same price.
Smells too strong. I got headaches on the first try. I don`t know yet if I want to try again... The shimmers looks white when on your skin.
